View is great and Julianne (at the front desk at night) is wonderful!! We got in on a late flight and called the resort just to check on arriving late, I mentioned that I was hungry and she told me about Sharkey's. She even tried to call them for me and place an order so it was ready when I got here. The line was busy but she tried multiple times and then gave me the number. She was a ray of sunshine when we met her And so friendly! I recommend staying here just for Julianne!

The reef was beautiful! The rooms were big and clean. The restaurant was pricey and verrrrry very slow, taking an hour most breakfasts, the menu is simple, minimal vegetarian options. Our biggest complaint was that the website says free kayak and paddle board use but they didn't let us take the kayaks or paddle boards out all week for "unsafe water conditions" though many days there were no whitecaps.Overall, we had a fine experience, the evening entertainment was fun ".the view was unbeatable. The snorkel gear was cheap but usable. The beach was all coral with a small area you could swim around in but lots of urchins in the water.Probably wouldn't stay here again, the cost to experience ratio wasn't great.

Room's are large and comfortable right on a beach but not very good for swimming lot's of sea urchins but the all you can eat dinner and show is well worth it. The pool is very nice too.

This place is perfect. Simple rooms but you're on an island vacation people you only really need a place to sleep or cool down with the AC! The hotel is on an amazing piece of land right off the beach with amazing ocean views. Many reviews say the beach in not swimable but they're very wrong! If you go down the beach there's a clear area you walk in and near the rocks is an amazing snorkeling experience! We saw easily the biggest lobster I've ever seen, a huge porcupine fish, and a lil school of Squid! The workers are all incredibly sweet and friendly! I spent moooonnnnttthhhhs researching hotels for our trip and TRR seemed like easily the best value and I'm so happy I was right!Thank you TRR for being our base camp for our Honeymoon!!

My family of 6 was here from December 30th to January 5th. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They came to clean our rooms everyday. The beach and view was amazing. They had entertainment every night for guests. I will say you will need a car to get around because it’s not many things close by. I would definitely stay here again. Their rooms are a little dated and the furniture had a few stains but it was still nice. If you’re looking to relax, enjoy beach life, listen to the waves and enjoy a nice breeze from the water, this is your place.

Great location, the views are amazing! Waking up to the sound of the waves is an incredible experience. But there quite some inconsistencies with the room service, one of our patio doors didn't open all the way. Screens were ripped, soaps were not refilled, the AC started dripping water on the last day. The restaurant was alright, expect resort prices but dirty chairs and tables could be an easy fix. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. But also the food was inconsistent, some days you got a fruit cup for breakfast some days you didn't. Some days the watermelon was salty the next day it wasn't. Again, those are minor issues that they can easily fix. All in all, I might come back, the entertainment was great too at the Deep End.

Small footprint.... but very well kept... I liked it..... Has a gym and restaurant on site, which is very convenient... doesn't seem to have much nice beach front, as beach is a bit rocky, but has a nice pool... views from the room are awesome ( right by the water)

After several calls to desk, no or very slow response to paper thin walls, ants in bathroom, workers eating their lunch on our patio while we were there, dirty pool, lack of pool chairs, pounding noises while trying to sleep, unclean dresser drawers, etc. Paid way too much for filth & noise. Supposedly under new management that never followed up on problems. Not coming back.

Stayed here for one night.Positives -1. Awesome view of the ocean. It was an excellent view from the room balcony. Best part of the property in my opinion.2. Took our reservation on short notice.Needs Improvement -1. Room could have been cleaner in my opinion. Microwave was dirty. The room we were in did not seem to match any of the pictures online.2. Balcony door did not lock and in room safe seemed overly complicated to use.To me I think this site could work if you are planning to spend a lot of time exploring St Croix and not planning to spend a lot of time in the room. This was not a good fit for my spouse and I taking our delayed honeymoon.

This hotel was excellent, especially considering the price. The rooms were very clean. The place smelled great, the views were beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. The check in/out process was relatively smooth and the staff was friendly. There’s an attached restaurant. As other reviews have said, the service is quite slow and when they say they open at 8, they don’t mean they’re ready to seat you or take your order at 8. The restaurant is good, the chef is creative and the staff is friendly (albeit a little stressed at times). Just go there with the expectation that your meal will take awhile. In the meantime, sit back, relax, enjoy the ocean views, and I’m sure you’ll have a great time.I did not take advantage of any of the other resort amenities due to my schedule, but I’d certainly recommend this spot if you’re traveling to St. Croix.

The hotel was very nice! Rooms are beautifully decorated. The area is very quiet and tucked away. Shelly, at the front desk was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly she helped us book our taxis when we needed them!! Chance & Shauna at the connecting restaurant - were both chatty, personable, and made amazing drinks. However , the person that made our experience the absolute best was Lala! Lala with housekeeping was the most hospitable of them all- we hung out with her almost every night after her shift. She was always the quickest to smile , ask us if we needed anything, and to tell us to have a great day! She went above and beyond to make sure that every day a great day at the resort. She is the reason that we will be coming back!! Thank you Lala, Shelly, Lionel, Chance & Shauna!!!The only thing we were disappointed in was that even though the hotel has a private beach- the beach is not very swim friendly. So make sure to book a trip out to buck island for some beautiful water & swim!

My stay at Tamarind Reef Resort was absolutely wonderful. The resort is nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting with stunning views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I particularly enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals with a stunning ocean view. The resort also has a beautiful beach and pool area, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Overall, my experience at Tamarind Reef Resort was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

It's decent - not new, but sufficient. Great staff. Restaurant is leased by someone else, but they work with resort to offer $20.00 credit per person for breakfast. Great food. Can't swim at beach - rocky. Several beaches to visit...highly recommend Bucceneer Beach, which is just around the bend and has lounges to rent and a grill for drinks and food. Get ready for roosters to start crowing at 4:30am!!!

Location and view was the best!!!! We went to sleep and woke up listening to the waves hitting the shore (20 yards away). The restaurant had great food, and we loved disco bingo on Thursday nights. Lala, was at our door every morning asking if we needed anything, provided extra Kurig coffee, and kept our room neat and tidy, plus she had a great sense of humor. Loved this place and will be back. Had nice size fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Only downside was no couch/loveseat, or comfy chair, just bed, swinging chair, and small table with 2 chairs

This resort is awesome and beautiful. Most comfortable beds in any hotel ever. The staff for MOST part are fantastic. The only reason not straight 5 stars is the hateful, nasty attitude restaurant manager. The breakfast is mediocre at best and is not free as advertised only 20.00 a person which sounds like a lot but cheapest thing is 14.00 pancakes and drinks (sunny d) 5.00. The evening staff are super nice until hateful one returns I guess to close up. The rooms are spacious, we had two queens. The balcony is wonderful.

Cleaning staff stole over $600 from us during a room cleaning. Take all your valuables with you. Do not stay here. In addition our back door was broken, the faucet was broke, the shower handle was broken, room smelled humid, was overall not an impressive sta.

Shelley, what a fantastic experience getting to meet her her runs and operates this resort just like it’s her own absolutely amazing service from start to finish was fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back for years to come. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience.

Pretty view! Room was reasonably nice, if in slight disrepair. The housekeeping staff were vey kind, and the restaurant servers are good, if a bit over-worked. The hotel’s admin staff is not so great: they informed us they were overbooked on the last day of our trip, literally kicking us out without alternative arrangements or a proper heads’ up, and didn’t promise a refund, even. We’d booked through a third party, to be fair, but the situation could have been handled much better!
